Outlaw Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients:
4 Cups fresh cranberries
2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Water
 

Preparation:
Place the berries in a colander and wash well.
 
Pick out any stems and bad berries.


Cooking:
In a medium "nonstick" pot combine  the sugar and water together and cook for about 10 minutes over medium heat until sugar is melted and dissolved.
Stir in  the cranberries.
 
Cover the pan and cook until  the cranberries stop popping, about 10 Minutes .

Stir occasionally, but be careful of popping berries. 

Skim  the foam off top if necessary.
Pour into a dish and let cool.

Can be served warm or refrigerated for serving later.
